Working with certified Human Resources professionals
The Certification Institute was founded in 2002 as an independent non-profit corporation whose aim is to administer and develop certification programs that develop industry professionalism and best practices. Their experience with industry trade association certification and accreditation programs laid the ground work in establishing their organization. CI's initial program to certify best practices in PEO workers' compensation risk management was developed with the financial support of the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO) and with the assistance of the Employer Services Assurance Corporation (ESAC).
By instituting this certification program, CI provides independent professional verification that a company like Human Resources, Inc.'s risk-management program meets proven insurance industry risk-management best practices. Teams of industry experts can be organized and meetings facilitated to develop credible ways of certifying compliance. Once the appropriate best practices/professional qualifications and related certification procedures are established and approved by the industry, CI can assist with beta testing and validation of the reliability of the certification process.
CI's services include:
- Need assessments
- Feasibility studies
- Facilitation of program design
- Development of time and cost estimates
- Assorted program planning and development
